MSUM student dies at residence hall Wednesday night [Video]

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – A Minnesota State University Moorhead student died at a residence hall Wednesday night.

In a letter to students, the University said it was an unattended death and the student was found unresponsive in their room. Moorhead Police say there is no obvious cause or foul play suspected. They also add that there is no threat to the campus community.

Out of respect for the student’s family, the school is not releasing their name at this time.

Counselors and other resources have been offered to students who need support.
