MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis partnered with the Memphis Police Department (MPD) to promote community development by building homes.

The initiative focuses on building five homes for low-to moderate-income families in North Memphis, providing residents with access to zero-interest mortgage rates.

President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, Dwaynce Spencer, shared his appreciation for the collaboration, stating, “Every build season, Memphis Habitat unites leading local organizations to join together and build quality homes. We’re thankful the Memphis Police Department has decided to volunteer with Memphis Habitat to help us ensure everyone has a decent place to live in the 901.”
