FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Mott Community College has brought back an event that’s helped bridge the community and its students with careers in law enforcement.
The college’s Workforce and Economic Development Division hosted a Criminal Justice and Corrections college and career fair with a dozen colleges and over 50 law enforcement agencies around the state.
“It’s something that we did for years before the pandemic, “said MCC’s Supervisor of Student Employment Services Ty Krauss. ” Once the pandemic took place and everything was shut down we stopped doing this for 3 years.”
Bringing it back for 2024 and giving attendees like 18-year-old Mott Community College freshman Samantha Springsteen a head start on her career goal of being a forensic scientist.
