FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – After a turbulent year that saw the controversial appointment of an interim president, a no-confidence vote from the faculty union, and fears of losing accreditation after a Higher Learning Commission inquiry.
Monday new leadership is in place for the Mott Community College Board of Trustees.
In a 4-3 vote Jeffrey Swanson beat out trustee Reyes and is the board’s new chair.
Trustee Wendy Wolcott will serve as vice chair, John Daly as treasurer, and new trustee Candice Miller will serve as secretary.
Miller joins Kenyetta Dotson on the board for the first time on Monday.
