Mother asks for help after daughter goes missing [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A mother is reaching out to the community to help find her teen daughter who hasn’t been heard from since she left home in the middle of the night Tuesday.

Police say 17-year-old Cheyenne Poole was last seen Tuesday on Person Avenue. She left her grandmother’s home without permission and got in a gray SUV with an unknown person.

Her mother, Lakisha Scott, says her daughter’s social media accounts were erased after she ran away, and her friends and family haven’t heard from her since.

Scott is asking anyone who knows Poole’s whereabouts to contact police to let her family know if she is safe.
