A massive recall affecting more than 500 varieties of frozen waffles has been issued by the company that manufactures them, according to a press release.
TreeHouse Foods, which produces frozen waffles for store brands, including those belonging to Target, Walmart, Aldi, and more, announced the recall last week.
The recalled items were sold across the United States and Canada at major retailers, including Walmart, Aldi, Dollar General, H-E-B, Publix, Target, Food Lion, Hannaford, Tops, and more.
The waffles were recalled because they may have been contaminated with listeria, according to the company.
Other recalled waffles were sold under the brands Foodhold, Simple Truth, and Kodiak Cakes.
