MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery County Board of Education is set to begin its search for the next superintendent and chief school financial officer.
During the monthly board meeting Tuesday, board President Brenda DeRamus-Coleman said they are putting out requests for proposals to find the search firm that fits their qualifications, pricing models, and can provide services that they are looking to use for this process.
The search firm will be responsible for conducting focus groups and interviews while defining the qualifications for the positions.
Coleman said hiring outside help makes the search a fair and efficient process, which is why it is imperative that they choose the right firm.
