A mobile science laboratory is inspiring young minds at Conley Elementary School in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood. Sixth grader Zachary uses trial and error in a science experiment exploring turbine power.“The turbines use the energy from the wind, and it pushes them around to make energy,” Zachary said. “So, it’s kind of like a model of how they do it, but we are powering stuff. So, like, say these are the houses and this is the wind it uses the wind power and makes it go all the way over here to power the so-called houses.” Students worked on experiments inside the Curiosity Cube, a mobile science lab visiting select schools across the country.
