The three people who were injured were taken to the hospital with burn injuries, at least one person was in critical condition.
PHOENIX — Two people are dead and three people are injured following a mobile home fire in north Phoenix, the city’s fire department said.
The fire was reported on Sunday morning around 9:40 a.m. near Cave Creek Road and Union Hills Drive. The fire fully engulfed one trailer and then damaged a second trailer to the north of the first, authorities said.
Three people were taken to the hospital with burn injuries, at least one person was in critical condition. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The five residents in the second trailer are displaced. No firefighter injuries were reported and Phoenix fire said they are working to determine the cause of the fire.
