MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile County district attorney says he will not be filing any charges against Kevin Levy, the former director of Mobile’s Gulf Coast Technology Center.

Levy was fired after a special counsel hired by the Mobile City Council released its findings regarding an investigation into allegations made by former Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine about a controversial contract the city approved with a consulting firm.

The special counsel released a 228-page report that accused Levy of providing false information and tampering with government documents in relation to handling of the 321z Insights contract.

District Attorney Keith Blackwood says he found there were only accusations against Levy but that he could find no proof of tampering for a criminal charge.
