Mobile Airport Authority holds SEEDS grant presentation [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Airport Authority hosting a check presentation today for a major milestone.

The celebration is because of a $2 million Site Evaluation and Economic Development Strategy, or SEEDS, grant awarded by the State Industrial Development Authority.

The funds will go towards supporting the Brookley Aeroplex expansion, which is expected to drive economic growth and business opportunities in mobile.

The grant is also part of Gov. Kay Ivey’s economic development initiative.
