MOBERLY — Wednesday is National Coffee with a Cop Day, and celebrations for the informal holiday extended to Moberly. One local business hosted an event for community members and officers to sit down and talk about issues in their community.
“It is an opportunity to give back to our community, which is including the deputies, Highway Patrol, and the local Moberly Police Department,” Moberly resident Robert Huffman said.
Huffman is the owner of Huffman Insurance Group. He started his business in 2015 and started this event last year.
He orders donuts and hot coffee for the community and law enforcement.
