The 2.5-mile MLK March will take place Monday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio community has multiple events scheduled leading up to the 38th Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration on Monday, Jan. 20th at 10 a.m.

The celebration begins with several events the days before, starting Friday at 7 p.m. with the New Baptist Ministers’ Union MLK Worship Service at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 N Walters St.

Teens have their day on Saturday, Jan. 18th with the MLK Youth Empowerment Summit at St. Phillips College. Pre-registered participants will receive a special Spurs-related surprise. The event starts at 9 a.m. and will include food and games with a special focus on aviation and aerospace.
