Bangor police are trying to locate a missing 69-year-old man.

He has dementia and may appear to be confused, police said Monday in a press release. 

He left his home on Mount Hope Avenue sometime overnight, and family members realized early Monday morning that he was missing, the release stated.

At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a gray hat, red and green fleece pants, a green button-down shirt with an orange undershirt, and brown slippers, according to police.

Officials describe him as 6 feet tall and 145 pounds, with a white beard.

Bangor police ask that anyone who may have information call them at 207-947-7384.
