Ministerial Commissioner: The Hungarian Space Program is Our National Pride [Video]

Orsolya Ferencz, the Ministerial Commissioner for Space Research, emphasized at a roundtable in Nyíregyháza (eastern Hungary) the dual priorities of the Hungarian space program: advancing scientific projects and inspiring young people.

She highlighted Hungary’s collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) in launching the HUNOR program, enabling Hungarian astronauts to conduct national research missions aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The program is currently finalizing specific scientific initiatives following a rigorous proposal process that concluded recently.

Ms. Ferencz noted ESA’s proactive efforts in engaging primary school children, underscoring the critical role of Hungarian astronauts in educating and inspiring youth about space exploration and scientific endeavors.
