Minister Slams Mohan Babu For Assaulting Journalist [Video]

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Telangana’s Minister for Revenue, Housing, Information, and Public Relations, announced that legal action will be taken against actor Mohan Babu for allegedly assaulting TV9 journalist Ranjith.

The incident occurred when Ranjith visited Mohan Babu’s residence to seek his comments on an ongoing family dispute.

The altercation followed claims by actor Manchu Manoj, who accused his father, Mohan Babu, of barring him from seeing his 7-month-old daughter and physically assaulting him.

Manoj emerged from the house with a torn shirt, alleging mistreatment. When Ranjith attempted to gather Mohan Babu’s response, the actor reportedly attacked him, grabbing the microphone and striking him on the head.

Minister Ponguleti responded to the incident, expressing concern for the journalist’s health and stating that notices have been served to Mohan Babu, requiring his appearance at the Rachakonda Police Station tomorrow at 10:30 AM.
