Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E. Laine are back for a Good Bones spin-off, despite their falling out on the original show.
HGTV announced on Wednesday, July 15, that the mother-daughter duo will star in a special limited season of the long-running series, which wrapped an eight-season run in 2023.
The new series will focus on their “new beginnings” and feature the two women working on separate projects in different states.
The upcoming episodes will follow Starsiak Hawk and Laine “as their lives evolve past their time renovating homes in Indianapolis,” according to a press release shared with PEOPLE.
Starsiak Hawk has purchased an Indiana lake house in need of some serious work and transform it into a retreat for her young family. While Laine will “set off on a new adventure in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she’ll risk her retirement nest egg” turning a run-down bungalow into her dream beach getaway.
