Millionaire entrepreneur, author, and professor of marketing at NYU Stern, Scott Galloway, revealed what the most sought-after skill or competence is that would stand the test of time. Following the recording of his latest Pivot podcast, Galloway spoke with CNBC and remarked that if he could give his 13- and 16-year-old kids one competence, it would be *drum rolls* storytelling. He stated that the most important part is nurturing the “ability to write well.” Also, “an ability to articulate ideas well.” Also add to the skills cart “an ability to present ideas with data, infographics, slideshows, etc.” The founder of L2 Inc. further stated that storytelling is why the younger generation shouldn’t solely rely on generative AI tools like ChatGPT. “Not now, not ever,” Galloway quips. He added that we have no idea if five years from now, “some neural network is going to replace ChatGPT, or if coding becomes outdated.”
