MIKE VRABEL is set to make a decision on his next role after interviewing for the New York Jets.
Vrabel has been out of work since being fired by the Tennessee Titans 12 months ago.
He made the playoffs three times with the Titans and had a record of 54-45 in the regular season there.
The 2021 coach of the year was sacked after two straight losing seasons.
And he spent the rest of 2024 in a consulting role with the Cleveland Browns.
But Vrabel could be back coaching after interviewing with the Jets when his deal with Cleveland ended Monday.
This is the second interview for the head coaching opening by the Jets.
They spoke with ex-Commanders and Panthers coach Ron Rivera on Thursday.
The Jets fired coach Robert Saleh in October following just FIVE games in charge.
Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich expects to also get the chance to interview for the job.
