The fourth annual Teesside Grotto saw a community come together to help children in need this Christmas.
Middlesbrough personal trainer and businessman Mike Hind MBE transformed the car park at his Mas Body Gym Middlesbrough into a winter wonderland on Saturday for the annual event, organised to help struggling families this festive season. The grotto was illuminated with an inflatable Grinch and snowmen and decked out with a Santa slay lights and presents.
Mike – who also runs Macro Based Diet – said the event saw nominated children meet Santa Clause during the special morning visit after filling out their Christmas lists. He explained Father Christmas, with the help of generous event supporters – who live as far away as Australia – worked tirelessly to make sure the youngsters didn’t go without this Christmas.
