Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce holds Women in Leadership Conference [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The annual women in leadership conference held by Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce is here again and on Thursday they brought over 300 women for one common cause.

“To bring together 300 women and actually we have some as far as Charleston and Athens, Marietta, Parkersburg and the whole area has come here because they’ve heard we put on a great event and have good speakers. It’s just a great networking opportunity so we’re so honored to be able to do that on behalf of our members,” said President/ CEO, Jill Parsons.

When it first started the conference had under 100 women and they only had one goal in mind and that was to motivate.

“To motivate women to take leadership roles in their organizations or maybe in the community they volunteer in,” said Parsons.
