CHARLOTTE — Former Providence Day School star Jadyn Davis returned to Charlotte to give back to the kids in the community this weekend.
Davis, the former Big 22 finalist now playing for the University of Michigan, hosted a toy donation drive this weekend at his alma mater.
The college freshman already organized his own nonprofit, The Jadyn Davis Foundation, and they partnered with Toys for Tots to bring kids Christmas presents this weekend.
Davis’ foundation says it is focused on serving “underprivileged communities” through initiatives like the toy drive and back-to-school events. He’s using his star power at Michigan to raise money and support for those efforts.
