The ‘Metro micro’ service will include five minibuses in each of the three service areas.
MINNEAPOLIS — Metro Transit has expanded its Metro micro service into two new suburbs. Woodbury and Roseville residents will see the minibusses in designated areas starting this week.
Those minibusses are the newest addition to the Metro micro program. North Minneapolis has had the service since 2022. In total, there are five minibusses in each area.
“This is our way of providing access into the network in areas where it might be more difficult to reach with fixed bus routes,” Adam Harrington, the Director of Service Development for Metro Transit, said.
