Metro, Montgomery County seeking developers for project near North Bethesda Metro Station [Video]

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – Transit and government officials have a vision to transform 14 acres of land around the North Bethesda Metro Station into a vibrant life science, transit-oriented community development.

Metro and Montgomery County officials are seeking developers to convert the space into a development with shops, offices, housing and public space.

“We are very excited,” Metro General Manager, Randy Clarke, said. “We know there are lots of developers, lots of partners out there that have been waiting for this day for a long time. So, we’re really excited to work with you.”
