Metro area animal rescue expands to a fourth location in Kansas City [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A metro area animal rescue has expanded to a fourth location in Kansas City as the number of animals it continues to rescue grows.

The Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary invited the community to celebrate its expansion to another location in Kansas City, Missouri, with an open house between 2 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The event was free to the public and included facility tours, information about the new location and more activities. This new facility will partner with the rescue’s current Spring Hill and Osawatomie locations, as well as the temporary location in Kansas City, Missouri.

The rescue indicated that its mission is to save cats and dogs in the metro area. The new space will also provide an area for cats, which are currently housed at the Olathe Pet Smart or foster homes.
