PEORIA (25News Now) – Metamora High graduate Anna Peplowski was the lead-off swimmer as team USA won their preliminary heat and qualified for the 4 x 200 relay finals in Paris. Peplowski swam a strong first 200 meters to start the USA on their way to a heat victory that qualified the team for the Gold Medal finals. Anna’s high school coach, Shane Morrison hosted a loud and proud watch party at 5 am in Metamora to cheer on their hometown Olympic hero!
