Mesa County Public Health holds press conference on E. coli outbreak [Video]

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Since Oct. 7, Mesa County Public Health has confirmed 10 cases of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, which resulted in the death of one older person with existing underlying health conditions.

The outbreak has been pinpointed to the Quarter Pounder at McDonald’s restaurants. Which has since been taken off the menu while they investigate.
