ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) — Police in Oakland County are searching for one of the two men who allegedly posed as DTE Energy workers, made their way into a Rochester Hills home and are believed to have killed an elderly man.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office; one of the suspects was taken into custody “without incident” in Shreveport, Louisiana at some point on Saturday. The sheriff’s office announced the arrest of Suspect #1, a Latino man shown in the video, in a press release around 6 p.m. No further details were released about the suspect.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home on Newcastle Drive in Rochester Hills — near Adams and Tienken — just before noon on Friday, Oct. 11.
