Melusi Mbele scores a leading role in ‘The Butcher’s Soul’ [Video]

Fan-favourite actor Melusi Mbele who starred in Scandal! as Jojo Kubeka has joined The Butcher’s Soul.

The award-winning actor Melusi Mbele stars in a spine-chilling thriller titled The Butcher’s Soul.

His character is granted seven days by the angel of Death to bring her murderous souls in exchange for his daughter’s life.

The show is directed by Kagiso Samuel Leburu, who won the Made for TV Film Safta for his debut feature, Okae Molao. While four-time Safta winner Adze Ugah from Shaka iLembe is the stunt director. 

The former Scandal! actor took to his social media to announce his latest role:”“Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you The Butcher’s Soul.”

He will star alongside Gomora actress Katlego Danke, Generations actor Vuyo Dabula, Smoke and Mirrors actress Zinhle Mabena, Scandal! star Tshepo “Howza” Mosese and many more.

The Butcher’s Soul premieres on Showmax on Friday, 2 August 2024.
