HONOLULU (Island News) — The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) unveiled the new mascot Kokua for the Here to Help initiative.
Robert Louis Stevenson Middle School seventh grader Chloe Yu is the artist who was part of over 60 student submissions. Yu’s artwork was selected by the public in a HIDOE social media contest, winning with a 42% pull of 390 votes.
