Medina celebrates ribbon cutting for Aladdins Eatery [Video]

MEDINA, Ohio — A crowd gathered at 951 N. Court St. to celebrate the recent ribbon cutting of Aladdin’s Eatery.

The Lebanese-American style restaurant will officially open Aug. 1.

“I have been with the city for 13 years and I’ve made a mental list of the top requests I get, and I can tell you that a top request has been ‘Can you bring Aladdin’s to Medina,’” Economic Development Director Kimberly Marshall said.

“Everybody is very excited about this. Thank you for choosing Medina as the community to bring your business. We are lucky you have chosen us.”

Marshall also mentioned that the opening of Aladdin’s means the creation of 46 jobs in Medina.

Mayor Dennis Hanwell, along with county and state officials, presented Aladdin’s owners with special proclamations.

“I want to say thank you, Mayor, for your leadership and strength,” said Aladdin’s owner Fady Chamoun.
