RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A walk through the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame could possibly lead you to asking one question, ‘What would aliens’ first impression of Earth be if they crash-landed in a building full of bikes?’
“If you were out in space, and you were to pick one spot in the world and come all the way into it where it was the mecca of the motorcycle community, you would hit the corner of Junction and Main,” Executive Director of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame Heidi Haro said.
On the intersection of Junction Avenue and Main Street, Sturgis, sits the museum which has been around since the early 2000s’, attracting thousands of visitors every year.
Haro says they experienced a successful riding season with an uptick in business.
