LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The City of Louisville is being recognized for its digital inclusivity.
Mayor Craig Greenberg’s office said Metro Government has been named a 2024 Digital Inclusion Trailblazer by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance.
NDIA’s program recognizes the city’s efforts to close the digital divide.
The city has been working to help communities across Louisville with access to affordable high-speed internet.
“From installing free Wi-Fi in dozens of parks across the city, to investing $120,000 in computer labs at community centers, 2024 was a huge year for digital inclusion in Louisville,” Greenberg said in a statement. “This will continue to be a priority for our administration in 2025 and beyond.”
