Maumee volunteers offer snow shoveling services; accumulation forecasted for NWO [Video]

MAUMEE, Ohio — A group of volunteers in Maumee is offering snow shoveling services to people who are homebound or older people who need assistance.

The “small group is here to assist you and will do our best to accommodate all requests on a first-come, first-serve basis,” a city spokesperson said in a press release on Friday.

If you need help clearing snow, you are asked to call the spokesperson at 419-360-8466.

The volunteer group is offering its services as steady snow showers and accumulation are expected in northwest Ohio Friday night and overnight into Saturday. The WTOL 11 Weather Team expects two to three inches of accumulation with the possibility of four inches for some areas.
