MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Heather Mathias joins WCIA’s Taylor Mitchell to preview their Out of the Darkness walk in Mattoon next month.
The walk is scheduled for Oct. 12, 2024 at Peterson Park Pavilion. Registration starts at noon, and the walk kicks off at 1 p.m.
Community Spotlight: Tunes & Blooms
The event is free to participate in, but walkers who raise at least $150 get a t-shirt.
