The Boy scouts of America are now called Scouting America but the mission is still the same. The non profit prepares boys and girls to instill values that are directly related to the communities around them and teach them life skills along the way. The Baltimore Area Council is delivering scouting programs that are peer directed, peer run alongside dedicated volunteer leadership. The Fall membership drive is on and I invited CEO of the Baltimore Area Council Kenn Miller to talk about how the Scouts have changed while remaining the same.
