MINERAL WELLS, W.Va. (WTAP) – A Maryland man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop was conducted in Mineral Wells on Friday.
The Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and Wood County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Durango near the U.S. Route 77 and Pike Street intersection in Mineral Wells, according to a press release.
During the stop, agents searched the vehicle and found approximately 116 grams of suspected cocaine and a large amount of money on one of the passengers.
The passenger, Ronald Brown, of Beltsville, Maryland, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and transporting cocaine into the state.
Brown is being held at the North Central Regional Jail.
