Marble-sized hail forecast with thunderstorms to hit Baldwin County Wednesday [Video]

A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:20 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 4 p.m. for Baldwin County.

Look for marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 40 mph.

“At 3:19 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Loxley, moving southeast at 10 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”

According to the weather service, “If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.”
