The majority of President-elect Donald Trump‘s nominations to join his administration are from his two states of residence, Florida and New York.
Following Trump’s nomination of Pam Bondi to become the next U.S. Attorney General, jokes of “Make America Florida Again,” mocking Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, have been circulating social media.
Trump has now announced he wants nine people from Florida to take on positions close to him in the White House. An additional six people are nominated in New York.
Beyond New York and Florida, 15 other states have just one or two nominees representing them.
