Man Walking By Animal Shelter Sees Dog In Yard And Realizes He Knows Her [Video]

When Lisa first arrived at Michigan Humane, she was a little nervous. She’d been transferred there from Oak Park Animal Shelter, and before that, her life was a mystery. The behavior department began working with her to ease her anxiety and fear, and soon, her true personality emerged.

“Lisa is an absolute sweetheart,” AnnMarie Chamberlain, Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator at Michigan Humane, told The Dodo. “Despite her nervousness, Lisa showed the shelter staff her gentle nature. She enjoyed engaging in play with people and leaned in to get love from people. Lisa also enjoyed hanging out with other dogs at the shelter, [and] going on buddy walks with other dogs.”
