Man trapped in hole in Peoria [Video]

Peoria Fire-Medical said the man became trapped in the hole at a home near 107th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Thursday afternoon.

PEORIA, Ariz. — A man has died after he was trapped in a hole under a Peoria trailer, according to authorities. Investigators now believe that this was a medical-related incident and the man showed no signs of trauma.

The roughly 60-year-old man got stuck while performing some maintenance underneath his mobile home and “it appears he had a medical emergency,” officials with the Peoria Police Department said.

Peoria police are investigating the incident. The man’s identity hasn’t been released.
