A man has shared the terrifying yet hilarious moment he realized he wasn’t alone in his selfie—because a lion was right behind him.

TikTok user Callum (@1_cal) was staying at a lion lodge, where guests can experience big cats up close, even while relaxing in a hot tub. His post featuring the jaw-dropping encounter quickly amassed 242,300 likes and 1.6 million views on TikTok.

“So this is me acting brave, but moments before I was terrified,” Callum admitted in the video, showing off his now-viral selfie with a lion looming in the background.
