Man shot, killed on Carmia Drive in Atlanta [Video]

ATLANTA — A man is in custody after he allegedly shot and killed his co-worker inside a southwest Atlanta barbershop Thursday morning. 

Just after 10 a.m., Atlanta police responded to a 911 call at a barbershop in the 3700 block of Carmia Drive in southwest Atlanta, which is the address of Up Next Barber Shop & Beauty.

It’s located in the Princeton Lakes Shopping Center off Camp Creek Parkway.

Neighboring business owner Fatima Mentch says she heard the shooting happen. 

“I heard a gunshot, but I didn’t know it was a gunshot,” said business owner Fatima Mentch. “I heard the knocking on the wall. Then one friend said, ‘No, it’s a gunshot. Someone has killed another.'”

Police said the noise Mentch heard was the sound of a revolver being shot after a dispute between two men …
