New Orleans Police say they found a body this morning in the Warehouse District.
“The NOPD investigating a homicide in the 600 block of Commerce Street,” Public Relations Specialist Kaitlin Rust Landry said in a notification.
The call came in just after 6:00am.
“Initial reports show an adult male gunshot wound victim was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.”
An initial police report said, “The victim and the subject were in involved in a verbal altercation, the subject produced a gun and began firing shots striking the victim.”
