Man killed in shooting in local neighborhood [Video]

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – Police in Akron Sunday announced that officers had made an arrest in a deadly shooting.

According to a press release, officers responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Coventry Street, on Saturday, August 10.

Police say when they arrived, officers found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in front of the home.

The victim died at the hospital, police say. He has not been identified.

According to police, the victim and another man, Stacy Martin, had a fight moments before the shooting.

Martin, 26, was booked into the Summit County Jail on murder charges, police say.
