Man killed in East Galesburg fire [Video]

EAST GALESBURG (25News Now) – A structure fire early Saturday morning in East Galesburg has left one person dead.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says the man was 77.

Deputies were called around 1:29 a.m. to a home in the 300 block of Illinois Avenue.

The East Galesburg and Knoxville fire departments were able to extinguish the flames at the front of the home and make entry, finding the man inside who was later pronounced dead.
