Man in custody after attempting to take child in Alliance: PD [Video]

ALLIANCE, Ohio (WJW) — A man was stopped in Columbiana County Sunday following a kidnapping attempt, Alliance police reported.

Police said the suspect tried to take a child in Alliance earlier in the day, but was not successful. The child is now safe.

The man is reportedly in police custody and an investigation is underway.
