Man arrested on drug and fugitive charges in Parkersburg [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – One man was arrested in Parkersburg on Friday on drug charges and being a fugitive from justice.

According to a press release from the Parkersburg Narcotics Taskforce, a traffic stop was conducted by police on a vehicle on Camden Avenue in Parkersburg on Friday.

One of the vehicle’s occupants, who gave officers a fictitious name, was later identified as Scott Rogers.

Rogers was arrested for possession of fentanyl with the intent to deliver after 80 grams of suspected fentanyl was found in the vehicle.

Rogers also had a parole violation out of Ohio and a warrant from West Virginia at the time of his arrest.

Due to this he was also charged with being a fugitive from justice.

He is currently being held int he North Central Regional Jail.
