Man accused of fatally stabbing roommate [Video]

A Greenwood, South Carolina, man is accused of stabbing his roommate to death, according to Greenwood police. Police said they were called just before 7 p.m. Wednesday to a home on Cokesbury Street about a stabbing. The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office said they found 43-year-old Demetrous Childs with stab wounds. He died at the scene. Investigators said they discovered Childs and his roommate, Charlie Mon’Ta Adams, were roommates and got into a fight. Adams pulled out a knife and stabbed Childs, police said.Adams is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
