SULLIVAN’S ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) – A man the Sullivan’s Island Police Department arrested last week in connection to a “disturbing” social media video is now out on bond.
Sean-Michael Emmrich Johnson, 34, of Huger, is charged with one count of felony kidnapping and misdemeanor charges of impersonating a law enforcement officer, larceny and assault and battery in the third degree.
Jail records show that Johnson, who turned himself in after a video gained traction online, was released around 2:15 p.m. Saturday after he posted a $31,587 bond.
The video, which was shared on social media, shows a man who called 911, who police have identified as Johnson, arguing with the driver of a pickup truck on the 2500 block of Ion Avenue.
